Gibson County Fire Department Smoke Alarm Program
Gibson County Fire Department participates in the "Get Alarmed, TN!" program. It is a grant-funded smoke alarm installation program administered by the State Fire Marshal's Office (SFMO). The program distributes 10-year sealed battery smoke alarms to participating fire departments. The fire departments then install the smoke alarms in homes across the county. Request a free smoke alarm.

The website for a permit is tn.gov/tnwildlandfire/prevention/safe-debris-burning.html. We recommend that, after obtaining a permit, you call central controls on their nonemergency line at (731) 692-3714 to inform them.
